  • Born to Rev. James H. & Jane A. Rainey in Richmond, Indiana.

  • Started playing piano at 5 years old

  • Learned from church pianist, Bonnie Baker Taylor at Evendale First Church of God, in Ohio.

    • First professional quartet was the Gospel Harmony Boys from West Virginia.

    • First recording session was with Vic Clay at Artist Recordings in Cincinnati, Ohio.

    • Played for The Hopper Brothers and Connie during their 25th Anniversary Era.

    • Rusty Goodman during his solo career.

    • The Dalton Gang on the Westcoast Tour & TBN TV tapings.

    • The Greenes from Boone, NC with Kim Greene.

    • The Singing Americans for nearly 7 years.

    • Wendy Bagwell and the Sunlighters with Kevin Williams.

    • The Trailblazers.

    • The Greenes with Amy Lambert.

    • The Blackwood Quartet with Josh Garner & John Rulapaugh.
